Sunda kelapa is an old harbor in Jakarta. Formerly it was part of a kingdom. Many harbor in Nusantara owned by kingdom and sultanate. Many traditional ships made of woods dock here. The design of the harbor is very simple. It describes that in the past to go anywhere is easy, no documents needed just talking to captain of the ship that somebody wanted to follow him. After getting permission then sail. Formerly life was very simple. There were no tax. Life today is very complex. To visit this harbor is very nice. The only one old harbor in Jakarta, in the side of modernism, it is Sunda Kelapa harbor.
